India seals victory against its great rival Pakistan.

India and Pakistan are considered the biggest rivalries in cricket.

People around the globe wait for this match, especially in the World Cup.

Till now, India has an unbeatable streak of 7-0, as they have beaten Pakistan in the last seven matches played in the World Cup.

India is playing their third match in the World Cup and has won the first two matches.

Match Details

The 12th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup was played on October 14th in Ahmedabad.

India won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Pakistan Innings

Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq opened the innings for Pakistan.

They were both going well as they were handling the situation.

They were also adding valuable runs, giving a great start to their team.

Mohammad Siraj didn’t let them take the partnership as long as he took the wicket of Abdullah.

After Siraj took the wicket of Abdullah, soon Hardik took the wicket of Imam.

Shubman Gill was back in the squad as he opened the innings with Rohit Sharma.

Rohit, from the start itself, continued his outstanding performance.

He was hitting boundaries across the ground as Gill lost his wicket to Shaheen.

Virat came in to bat, but after a few overs, he also lost his wicket.

Rohit kept on going and completed his half-century as Shreyas Iyer supported him from the other side.

Rohit’s knock of 86 runs made the match single-sided, while Shreyas 53 runs made India win the match.

Team India won the match by 7 wickets and 117 balls remaining, continuing their winning streak by 8-0.
