The Doping test will be carried out by NADA officials in the UAE. On behalf of this three High ranking National Anti-Doping Agency officials along with six empaneled Dope control Officers are set to travel to the UAE for sole good purpose.

According to several reports the agency has already decided to target at least 50 samples during in and out of the competition. There will be around 60 matches which will be played until November 10.

So far it has been decided that there will be a total of 9 men from NADA in the UAE. They are also allowed to seek help from the UAE’s National Anti-Doping Organization if required.

NADA will divide their men into 3 teams with one official and two DCOs. Each team will operate in a different venue as there are three different venues from Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. On the other hand they will have support from the local NADO staff within their units.

However it is not yet revealed if the entire cost will be borne by NADA or BCCI will put their hands on the issue by sharing the bill as the tournament is being held outside India.

Considering India, NADA used to be responsible for all the cost collection including transportation and testing.

According to a source it is reported that the NADA officers will also be asked to stay in the bio-bubble as informed by the BCCI.

However there are good relations between NADA and BCCI thus, NADA had asked BCCI to prepare five separate stations for dope testing and they are initially known as Dope Control Stations (DCS). Among which three at the match venues in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi and two at the practice grounds in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

It will be easier to maintain logistics in the UAE as compared to India because of the rising number of cases could have caused tiny bit of difficulties for the NADA officials. It is also expected that the sample numbers might be limited but BCCI plan to collect a few blood samples too as the transportation will be easier from Dubai to the WADA-accredited lab in Doha.
