Star batter and Indian Women’s cricket team skipper, Mithali Raj recently broke the record of highest ODI runs in Women’s cricket. Wishes from all over the world came to her. Even Virat Kohli, who is a strong supporter of Women’s cricket posted on social media congratulating her. He had even wished good luck to the team before the start of ICC Women’s World Cup. But while wishing Mithali Raj this time, he committed a major mistake due to which e had to suffer mass trolling on social media.

Virat Kohli while congratulating Mithali Raj used Punam Raut’s in his post but quickly realised his mistake and deleted the post soon.

Virat Kohli's post on Facebook

Posting the picture of Punam Raut, he congratulated Mithali Raj saying,  “A great moment for Indian Cricket, Mithali Raj becomes the highest run scorer in Women’s ODI Cricket History today. Champion Stuff!”.

Mithali has now gone past the Englishwoman Charlotte Edwards’ record of 5992 runs in 191 matches but has also created the world record of being the first woman cricketer to score 6000 runs.
