The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) will be organizing the second edition of Scalathon on 7th January 2020 with the goal of understanding the needs of the young startups and helping them to accelerate growth through tailor-made solutions.
The event will be organized in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry (FICCI) and Wadhani Foundation.
Scalathon 2020 is targetted towards selected SMEs with more than ₹5 crores in annual turnover. The event will feature senior officials from Kerala Government, prominent speakers from industry, mentors and academicians, who will address a selected group of participants.
During the event, the startups will be accorded tailor-made solutions to help address the critical needs of growth-focused startups. Furthermore, these startups will also be provided mentoring and other support to help boost their growth.
This event will further help boost Kerala’s startup ecosystem and provide a learning opportunity of budding entrepreneurs in the state.
With over 2,000 startups in the state, Kerala was termed as the ‘Top Performer’ in the State Startup Ranking 2018 by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Government of India, acknowledging the robust startup ecosystem in the state.
KSUM is the state’s nodal agency for startups and has played a crucial role in the development of the state’s vibrant startup ecosystem.
Apart from Scalation 2020, KSUM will also be organizing the Seeding Kerala event on 7th February 2020. Seeding Kerala event will bring together a bunch of high networth individuals (HNIs) of Kerala to showcase the potential of the startups in the state and across the country.
