Realty startup NoBroker launches in Delhi-NCR; aims to expand business in stateImg source: Yourstory

NoBroker, a tech-based real estate startup, has expanded its entry in Delhi, cited Inc42.

The Bengaluru-based platform NoBroker said that it has already garnered 62,000 consumer registrations and over 27,000 listings on the platform.

“Delhi NCR is not only the hub for government and administration but is also a centre for major economic activities in North India. It is home to one of the most prominent startup ecosystems and also has a very robust corporate culture,” said Saurabh Garg, CBO and cofounder of NoBroker.

NoBroker was founded by Akhil GuptaAmit Kumar Agarwal, and Saurabh Garg in 2014. The tech-based realty platform NoBroker is an integrated platform where customers can find solutions for real estate transaction. Transactions ranging from rental or outright sale to value added services like loan, packers and movers, legal documentation, online rent payment, among others, are provided by the NoBroker Home Store.

Currently, the platform NoBroker operates in six cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. The company is looking to launch its operations in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad in the next six to eight months.

NoBroker is also looking to expand its presence across the top 20 cities in India in the next two to three years.

Prior to Delhi, NoBroker had been operational in five cities Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Gurugram — and claimed to add over 280K new users every month.

Amit Kumar Agarwal, CEO and cofounder of NoBroker, said, “All our other services such as Packers & Movers, Home Store, home-cleaning, Rental agreement, and NoBroker Pay will also be available to consumers in Delhi-NCR. Delhi-NCR, which is home to an expanding class of digital-first consumers, is indisputably a high-value market for a company like ours.”

As per its LinkedIn page, the company NoBroker had also launched a tech-enabled security management system NoBrokerHOOD app to simplify visitor management within residential accommodations buildings, housing societies and gated communities.

NoBroker claims to have more than 2.5 million properties registered on its platform, which has served over 6 Mn customers.

Furthermore, according to reports, the real estate sector in India is fuelled by rapid urbanisation and rural migration to cities.

India has the largest number of proptech startups (77 of 179 funded proptech startups) in Asia-Pacific, the report further added.

Across realty business verticals, other startups under the similar roof include NestawayProptiger, 99Acres, and MagicBricks.
