Airtel has today announced the launch of its online store. Termed as a part of its Project Next, Airtel will offer latest smartphones with an EMI option bundled with its postpaid plans. On the debut day, the company is offering iPhone 7 (32 GB variant) for just INR 7,777 and it plans to add more smartphones from various other brands. The main aim behind launching the platform is to offer smartphones at an affordable down payment and lucrative EMIs. Bharti Airtel has also partnered with companies like Apple, HDFC Bank, Clix Capital, Seynse Technologies, Brightstar Telecom and Vulcan Express.

Airtel Online Store is a part of Project Next. The company has planned to invest over INR 2,000 crores under the project to offer more and more options and facilities to its customers. Currently, the offerings include iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and it plans to add more products in the coming days.

Under Airtel Online Store, Airtel has partnered with phone brands, banks, financial institutions and logistics companies to offer a seamless experience. A customer can get onto the platform, choose his desired smartphone, check for his loan eligibility instantly, and avail a loan from Clix Capital. Everything happens on a single platform and in a matter of minutes. Once you get the eligibility after the system checks your credit history and CIBIL Score, you will be asked to make the downpayment. Downpayment varies for all the smartphone and the EMIs come bundled with airtel postpaid plans, offering unlimited voice calling and data.

How to get iPhone 7 at just INR 7,777

Under the project next program, Airtel is offering iPhone 7 (32 GB) at a down payment of INR 7,777. After the downpayment, the customer will have to pay an EMI of INR 2499 per month for the next 24 months. The EMI also includes Airtel Unlimited Postpaid plan, offering unlimited calling, 30 GB data per month to the user. Also, the customer can add one of the family members in the plan and two people can share the data and unlimited calling benefits.

With this, Airtel has started to offer the subscription plans on par with the foreign countries, where buying a smartphone does not leave a big hole in your pockets. Airtel also gives an offer to pay the whole remaining amount at once, by paying 6% charges on the remaining principle.
