Firework app is growing fast and have over three million registered users across iOS and Android. As, the app set up in the market, now it’s time to see will it create trouble for TikTok or not?

TikTok was launched back in 2017 and till now it has now 120 million monthly active users in India. TikTok remained the most downloaded app on the iOS App Store during the month of July 2019. It was also the second most downloaded app on the Google Play Store. During the month of July 2019, it had a total install count of 53.5 million and remains the second most downloaded app across platforms. There are many similar short viedo-sharing platforms like Vigo Video and Likee that are slowly growing and trying to make their space among the users. Now a similar platform called Firework, based in Silicon Valley has entered the Indian market.

The TikTok has got 4.3 ratings on Google Play while Firework has a rating of 4.4 stars. The Firework app is growing fast and have over three million registered users across iOS and Android.

Firework allows users to create 30-second videos and with “Reveal”, as it’s based on the patent-pending technology and it allows creators to take both horizontal and vertical video in one shot from their mobile device.

The company CEO, Vincent Yang said that India has the fastest-growing smartphone market in the world and it is exciting to be part of this revolution which has impacted everyone.

In India, Firework will focus on working with some of the biggest names in entertainment and already has content from ALTBalaji and Hindustan Times.

“According to some reports Indian consumers spend nearly 170 mins per day on apps. And India in the past has seen over one billion app downloads. At Firework, we have over three million registered users across iOS and Android. The Indian market will see us substantially increase that number,” Cory Grenier, Chief Revenue Officer, Firework, said in a statement on Monday.
