Sony mobile launches Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact in IFA Berlin. The Xperia XZ1 Compact comes with similar design and offers similar internal hardware.

The full-metal unibody design looks good and the device just looks like their last Xperia XZ. Let look at the tech specifications of the same.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features a small 4.6 inch IPS LCD screen with 720p resolution with TRILUMINOUS Technology. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC with 4 GB RAM and 64 flash memory with an SD card slot (up to 256 GB).

The rear-facing 19 MP camera does feature same flagship class features including super-slow motion video recording capability. However, when it comes to the front facing camera instead of 13 MP, the Compact features an 8 MP shooter with 1080p video recording capability.

The device is certified for the IP68 water resistance so, if you forget to get keep your device outside the pool, don’t worry it will work normally. After 3 years, Sony has launched a powerful Compact smartphone with flagship class hardware and latest Android Oreo. The device will be available by the end of the September by the end of the September. and expected to be priced slightly less than the original Xperia XZ1 Compact.
