New Indian based OEM, itel is launching its newest smartphone itel PowerPro P41 in India. The device retails for INR 5,999. After the successful penetration into the Indian 4G smartphone market by Wish series, this is their first device in their PowerPro series.

The device offers polycarbonate built quality with metal frame. The device is focused on those set of users, who spend a lot of time on their device that requires a longer lasting battery at an affordable price tag in the entry-level to mid-level smartphone users in India.

Most of the tech inside the itel PowerPro P41 is one of the best in its class. The built quality and materials used to construct the device are making this device distinguishable from the competition, the unique selling point of this device is its massive 5000 mAh battery. The combination of 1.3 GHz SoC with the WVGA resolution screen will make sure that this device can last longer than the normal smartphones with the same battery capacity.

Moving on, the device offers 5 inch IPS LCD screen with WVGA resolution (854 x 480) powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor, paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard storage. Additional SD card support does exist (up to 32 GB). The device runs on a customised version of Android Nougat 7.0, with software implementations like multi-account feature, which enables to access 2 social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

With respect to optics, the device offers 5 MP main camera with autofocusing feature and 2 MP selfie camera with fixed focus. Additionally, the device has dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0, 2.5 GHz channel wifi and hotspot with 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device will be available by the end of this month.
