Moto Indian has launched one more budget Android smartphone in India. Named Moto C Plus, it costs just INR 6,999 (~$100). Like most of the Moto smartphones, the device runs on purest form of Android without any additional customisation. The device goes on sale from 20th June exclusively via Flipkart.

The device resembles the recently launched Moto G5 Plus and Moto X Play in terms of camera placement. The built quality looks cheap, due to excessive use of polycarbonate in the phone construction.

This is one of the few moto device to be powered by Mediatek SoC (MT6737) paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard storage with external SD support upto 128 GB. In terms of camera, the Moto C Plus offers 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera with their own LED flash. The display measures at 5 inch diagonally with 720p resolution and corning gorilla glass 3.

As per the connectivity is concerned, the devices nails it with dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE VoLte capabilities on either of them. Latest Wifi/ac also helps the device with higher download speeds.

Interestingly, the device features user replaceable 4000 mAh battery without any fast charging support. For the old-school folks, the device does offer FM Radio as well.

After the Moto’s pair with Lenovo, their phones doesn’t amuse us anymore. Stock android experience has become their only selling point and their flagship phones does offer innovating pricing, but at the cost of high price point.
