Timex, the watch brand, which is known for premium wristwatches has launched a new smart fitness tracker in India. The Timex Blink is priced at ₹4,595 for the leather bracelet and ₹4,995 for the stainless steel band. The smart band will be available via Timex official website and Timex showrooms. This watch is made in partnership with the new Indian startup Blink and a premium watchmaker Timex.

The watch has a built-in GPS tracker, which can be used to track the location and share it with the emergency contact using a paired smartphone. The main feature, that differentiates this watch from the competition is its ability to send instant emails and SMS’s on the go (which requires internet connection). According to the brand, the battery on this smart band can last up to 10 days on a single charge and takes around 60 minutes to completely charge. The band pairs via Bluetooth 4.2 with a smartphone running on iOS or Android operating system.
