When both the ex-president entered the vote race, both Marc and Hey promised to leave behind the past and said that they would now accept whatever result would be as they cast their own ballots in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo.

Rajoelina said, “Even if it is a rainy season, the sun is shining today. I hope the sun shall shine on Madagascar.” He further added saying, “In case of vote rigging, it won’t be from our side, I am a democrat and if I lose I will accept the decision.”
