British Prime Minister Theresa May is likely to hold a cabinet meeting in order to update ministers over her proposed Brexit deal strategy.

According to BBC news reports, the cabinet meeting comes after speculation about May’s leadership and several claims of plots to oust her, a thing which senior minister has fully denied.

There have been some suggestions that finalizing or naming a date for the Britain departure from the European Union as the prime minister could boost support for her Brexit negotiation.

The Sun newspaper used its front page urging May to set out a date for her resignation to win over the Democratic Unionist Party and Tories to bolster the efforts and chance of her Brexit agreement passing through a third vote.

May’s deal has overwhelmingly been dismissed twice in the House of Commons, and still remains unclear whether she will put forth her withdrawal deal in the parliament this week after she claimed that she would hold a referendum only if there was “sufficient support”.

May held meeting after she summoned leading opponents of Brexit deal to Chequers to find out whether there was enough support the withdrawal agreement to bring it back to the table of Commons this week.

But after lengthy talks with prominent Brexiteers – including Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg and Iain Duncan Smith – there was little sign of an immediate breakthrough.
