2K Sports’ famous wrestling title WWE 2K20 arrived on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 22nd. The game has been frustratingly glitchy and seems to be a downgrade from its earlier version. 2K Sports recently rolled out patch 1.03 this month. The new patch is for PC, Xbox and PlayStation 4. The patch was set to remove bugs so that it can improve the game, but instead of improving, this patch is corrupting the game.
There are increasing reports that patch 1.03 is corrupting PC players’ save files. A youtube content creator, SmackTalks, who create WWE content posted on twitter about the issue.
WARNING: Installing Patch 1.03 on PC will corrupt your game save and cause you to loose all data.@2KSupport @WWEgames is there anything that can be done to avoid this?#WWE2K20 pic.twitter.com/5bYHAVRye8

It is not clear if the issue is happening with all the players or with some players. To prevent the progress loss, players can do one thing: Avoid playing the game till the next patch.
