After that, PUBG makers have been trying to reverse the ban by declaring about cutting ties with Tencent to handle the franchise in India with other things.

But the attempts have failed as it has been announced by the government that the ban is for permanent. The ministry also said that the ban will not be revoked, not because its a Chinese app but because of its violent nature.
