Powertrain and Range

Let us begin with the most important aspect of an electric vehicle. And of course, it is the powertrain and range. Starting with the top end iX xDrive50 variant, it produces 523HP and 765Nm of peak torque. Similarly, there is an iX xDrive40 trim that churns out a decent 326HP and 630Nm of peak torque.

Performance-wise, the xDrive50 can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the entry-level variant is tuned to do the same in 6.1 seconds.

BMW has not revealed the battery packs yet. However, this entire layout with the latest battery cell technology allows the top-end variant to return a range of up to 630kms.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the all-new BMW iX does feel premium. To be precise, the German brand has introduced the latest iDrive display. For starters, there is a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen that remains driver-oriented. A wide variety of driver assistance will also be a part of the upcoming BMW iX.
