The reason behind Panigale V4 being a track-oriented machine is obviously the involvement of Ducati Corse and Ducati Style Center. As a result, both the divisions have worked tirelessly on the updated bike to take performance to another level.

This time, the Italian brand has come up with an S variant as well. To begin with, both variants are almost similar. However, just to differentiate, Ducati has introduced electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension on the S variant.

According to the Italian brand, multiple steps were taken to comply the engine with the latest emission norms. To begin with, the 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 is now available with a BS6 complaint 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 motor. The overall output from this unit is said to be somewhere around 211HP @ 13,000 RPM. Further, the peak torque from the same stands at 124Nm @ 9,500 RPM while being mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The old ride modes including Race, Sport and Street are still there to alter the performance in a precise manner. Surprisingly, with the new ride mode strategy, the 2021 Panigale V4 will now get two sub-ride modes, precisely – Race A and Race B.

A new set of electronic packages with the 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is now a part of the updated Panigale V4. Also, aids such as Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO, Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) EVO, Cornering ABS EVO, etc will be there as standard.
