Mercedes Benz has recently launched the all-new S-Class globally and now it’s time for Mercedes Maybach to reveal the all-new S580 for the global market. The German carmaker has always been known for space and luxury it offers. However, this time Mercedes Maybach has taken luxury to the next level.
INTERIOR
With the perfect design, the cabin of the luxury sedan is even more spacious when compared to the regular S-Class. Meanwhile, features inside the Mercedes Maybach S580 include purposely designed rear seats that are almost similar to a recliner. However, it comes with a massage function as well. Other features such as folding tables, Champagne flute holders, refrigerator and cup holder are also offered on the new Mercedes Maybach S580. Apart from this, the German carmaker is also offering MBUX infotainment system, ambient lighting, Burmester 4D surround sound system, etc.
DESIGN & EXTERIOR
Design-wise, the all-new Mercedes Maybach S580 gets a massive signature Maybach grille, 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome treatment and creases running throughout the car. However, customers can also opt for the 21-inch alloy wheels as optional. Apart from all this, the B-pillar and mirror lines also get chrome accents while the C-pillar gets an illuminated Maybach logo.
ENGINE
Powering the Mercedes Maybach S580 is a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that comes combined to the EQ Boost mild-hybrid technology. Meanwhile, the output it produces is an impressive 496BHP of power and a peak torque of 700Nm. However, it comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and power is channeled to all-wheel with rear-axle steering as well.
Earlier, Mercedes Maybach S-Class used to rival the Roll Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur. However, this time the features offered on the all-new Mercedes Maybach S580 is expected to launch by next year with a price tag of $200,000.
