Porsche has revealed the 2021 Porsche Panamera globally. The updated Panamera is the second generation of the trim since its launch in 2016. The all-new Panamera gets an updated front section along with the modified tail strip as well as the lights. Meanwhile, Porsche has also updated the wheels of the new supercar.
The 2021 Porsche Panamera gets the striking air intake grilles, a single bar front light unit. While the large openings at the side enhance the cooling function.
However, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S gets the larger side air intakes as compared to the Panamera. It will now arrive in the market with newly designed elements that enhance the visual width of the car. The rear light strip now runs continuously between the new LEDs for an appealing look.
The Porsche Panamera Sports GTS model now gets exclusive tail lights. Meanwhile, three new tyre options with 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels are now introduced to the wheel range. This results in a total of around 10 different designs for the wheels. The recently added feature on the Panamera trim is the Porsche Communication Management. Many new digital functions along with the improved Voice Pilot, online voice control, risk radar, etc. have also been added. Risk Radar is a feature that reads the road signs and hazards information for improved safety. Porsche will also offer the Wireless Apple Carplay with the 2021 Panamera.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S gets power from the 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine. It produces 621bhp of power and 820Nm of torque. The power figure is now better by around 79bhp. Meanwhile, it can complete 0-100kmph in the Sport Plus Mode in just 3.1 seconds. The top speed of the Panamera Turbo S is 315 kmph. The supercar comes with the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) along with the roll stabilization.
The Porsche Panamera GTS runs on a V8 Biturbo engine that produces 473bhp and 630Nm of output. The power figure is now upgraded by 19bhp. The power delivery is similar to any naturally-aspirated engine. Panamera GTS also comes with a new standard sports exhaust system.
Likewise, the Porsche Panamera and Panamera 4 comes with a 2.9-litre V6 Biturbo engine. It produces a massive 326bhp of power and 450Nm of peak torque. The output of both the cars remains unchanged but the chassis now becomes sportier than ever before.
Porsche will soon update the Panamera trim in India keeping in mind the emission norms.
