Royal Enfield has announced the launch of the RE Classic 500 Tribute Black Edition in the UK. The company will sell 210 units of this limited edition to mark the end of the 500c engine. However, in the month of February, the company has already launched the limited edition of the RE 500 in India. Likewise, the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black edition will be available for the UK soon.

Royal Enfield will launch both the Classic as well as the Bullet 500 in the UK. Meanwhile, the sale of both the motorcycles will continue till the stock lasts. However, Royal Enfield will continue to serve its customers with the servicing and spare parts availability for the 500-cc bikes.

The Royal Enfield 500cc engine is a Unit Construction Engine (UCE) which is serving the Royal Enfield bikes since 2009. This particular engine was first used in the first-gen Classic, then the Bullet 500, and finally on the Thunderbird 500. It is a 499-cc single-cylinder, twin spark, air-cooled unit that produces 27.2bhp of power and 41.3Nm of torque. The engine completes its transmission duties with the help of a 5-speed gearbox along with a multi-plate clutch.

Royal Enfield right now is focusing on the 650cc-segment motorcycles in the UK. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 will continue to serve the market in the UK. However, Royal Enfield is also planning to introduce a new scrambler-type motorcycle worldwide.

The particular Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Edition comes with a dual-tone black color. Apart from the color scheme, Royal Enfiled is also offering individually numbered bikes with the serial number on it. Every customer of Royal Enfield 500 Tribute Black Edition to get an individual serial number written on it.
