Triumph Motorcycles came with the Triumph Speed Twin back in 2018. The motive behind the introduction of this retro motorcycle was to retain the iconic classic series.

The British brand is back with the updated Speed Twin and to be precise, it is now available with a Euro-5 compliant engine. Several other updates including feature, mechanical and hardware are also a part of the 2021MY. Want to know more about the all-new Triumph Speed Twin? Take a detailed look right here.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 2021 Triumph Speed Twin has made its debut with a Euro-5 compliant engine.
  • The updated 1200cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine now churns 98.6BHP.
  • Minor cosmetic and hardware updates are there on the all-new Speed Twin.

2021 Triumph Speed Twin

Although, the British brand has tried to retain its iconic look. However, the 2021 Triumph Speed Twin still comes with multiple new elements including chunky 12-spoke wheels, stainless steel twin exhausts, anodised headlight and mudguard mounts. As a part of the update, even the fuel tank of the all-new bike gets distinctive graphics.

Three colour schemes will be a part of the palette for the updated Speed Twin. To be precise, they are – Jet Black, Matte Storm Grey and Red Hopper.

Triumph Speed Twin might look retro in terms of design but at the heart, it is no lesser than any modern motorcycle. Technology-wise, it comes with ABS, switchable traction control, LED headlight with DRL, USB charging socket, engine immobiliser and three ride modes (Rain, Road and Sport) on offer.

As per the updates, the 2021 Speed Twin is now available with a Euro-5 compliant 1200cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Talking in numbers, the power figure from this motor is up at 98.6BHP @ 7,250 RPM against the older 96BHP. In a similar way, many of us will expect a higher torque delivery from this motor. But in reality, the peak torque remains the same at 112Nm.

Last but not least, the updated bike also gets a 43mm Marzocchi USD fork upfront. At the back, it is still available with conventional twin shock absorbers. Another update for the 2021MY is the Brembo M50 callipers that are available with twin 320mm discs at the front and 220mm single disc at the back.
