What’s new?

Honda has announced that the all-new CBR650R will be available with the older colour schemes, namely – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The only change on the visual front is the new graphics and stickers.

To be a little more precise, the black shade will now get orange panels while the Grand Prix Red is expected to get newly designed graphics. Honda claims that the updated sports bike is available with a 15.4-litre fuel tank. This way, the overall weight now stands at 211kgs.

Even though the Japanese bike manufacturer has launched it as a CKD unit but still, it will cost Rs.47,000 more when compared to the outgoing model. Just like the other high-end motorcycles, Honda will retail the updated CBR650R through the brand’s BigWing channel.

Honda has decided to stick with the old power unit. As a result, the all-new CBR650R will still get a 649cc four-cylinder engine that produces 87PS of power and 57.5Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, Honda has deployed a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch as standard. Thankfully, the updated sports bike remains mechanically untouched.
