On the outside, the revisions on the new Evoque are minor. However, they are there and therefore, let us discuss a few of them. To begin with, just like the premium Range Rover models, this one also features a refreshed grille. The headlamps also have been revised and are sleeker than ever. Other changes such as new alloy wheels and new brake calipers, further help the overall look.

The 2024 Range Rover Evoque is to be sold in two shades called Corinthian Bronze and Tribeca Blue.

Interior & Features

The British brand has decided to omit all the physical buttons on the central panel. Instead, the new Evoque features a sidebar on the touchscreen infotainment system, acting as a shortcut for all the major functions.

Land Rover has even updated the steering wheel and instrument cluster of the SUV. To name some crucial features, it comes with a massive panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, surround-view camera and a PM 2.5 air purifier, among others.

Engine & Powertrain

Like the outgoing model, the 2024 Evoque features two engine options for customers to choose a powertrain according to their needs. The first one is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a decent 247 horsepower and 365Nm. While, the other one is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine capable of propelling 201 horsepower and 430Nm.

What’s common for both these engines is the availability of a 48V mild-hybrid system with a starter generator and a 9-speed automatic transmission. What else remains standard across the range is JLR’s all-wheel drive system that can tackle any terrain with various terrain response modes, including Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Ruts and Sand. The overall performance of the SUV can also be altered using drive modes such as Eco, Comfort and Dynamic.

Rivals

In India, Range Rover Evoque continues its rivalry with luxury SUVs such as Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and BMW X3.
