Benelli is expanding its business in India at a substantial rate. The Italian brand trying to reach the masses has recently announced that it will be launching an entry-level adventure tourer named Benelli TRK 251 really soon. To ensure everything goes well, the Indian arm of the bike manufacturer has started accepting bookings for the same. Also, customers who wish to own this entry-level adventure tourer can now place their bookings against a token amount of Rs.6,000. Planning to enter this segment? What can we expect?

Design-wise, the upcoming TRK 251 feels like any other high-end adventure tourer. Available in three different shades, including Black, White and Grey, it looks absolutely stunning.

The brand has already confirmed that it will be taking inspiration from the elder sibling. This way, the all-new TRK 251 will be featuring twin headlamps, a tall windscreen and a break at the front. Talking about the side and rear profile, the upcoming entry-level adventure tourer is expected to come loaded with several crucial components including a career rack, LED taillamp, side-mounted exhaust and alloy wheels for added practicality.

Trying to offer a highly comfortable seating position, Benelli has even incorporated amply cushioned seats on the TRK 251. Interestingly, to enhance its usability as a tourer, the bikes manufacturer is offering an 18-litre fuel tank for extra range.

Engine

Benelli has not revealed any other details regarding the bike. However, according to our sources, it will be available with a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Globally, this unit is capable of churning out a massive 25.8HP and 21.1Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, we expect Benelli to employ a 6-speed gearbox which will ultimately work in conjunction with this entire setup.
