Honda Elevate

The Hyundai Creta rival has come up with a bold exterior design and undoubtedly, it is going to attract a lot of attention from the prospects. With the brand’s signature grille, LED headlamps, distinctive tailgate and sleek LED taillamps, is therefore an important event for the Japanese brand.

Inside the cabin, the new Elevate feels more premium, unlike the younger siblings, giving it a separate identity. The introduction of some crucial features these days such as a massive 7-inch digital driver’s display and a massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system has further added to the overall practicality quotient.

Honda even boasts about the safety that the new Elevate is going to offer. So basically, with the usage of world-class high tensile steel, strong torsional and lateral rigidity and a reliable suspension setup, the hardware game of Honda feels on point.

Under the hood, it will be available with a sole 1.5-litre four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. Thankfully, Honda has confirmed the output of 121 horsepower and 145Nm of peak torque from this unit at the time of launch itself. What else is confirmed is the availability of two gearbox options, which include either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT gearbox as per the requirement of the buyer.

As soon as the Honda Elevate arrives in India, it is going to compete with some best sellers including Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Citroen C3 Aircross, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq as standard.
