Features & Design
Sticking to its nature, the Hypermotard comes with wide handlebars, knuckle guards, under-seat exhaust and an LED headlight. Ducati even offers it with several other features including a TFT instrument cluster, USB charging port and a bi-directional quickshifter. It is even available with three ride modes including – Sport, Touring and Urban to alter the overall performance. However, to keep the rider safe, electronic aids such as cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control, etc are a part of the list.
Coming to the most interesting part, Ducati Hypermotard 950 also gets the Ducati Multimedia System. According to the brand, it can be used for different purposes including calls and music.
Engine & Hardware
Powering the Hypermotard 950 is a BS6 compliant 937cc twin-cylinder engine. To be precise, it is a unit that is truly capable of churning out a massive 114HP and 98Nm of peak torque. The manufacturer has even worked on the gearbox keeping into account the feedbacks earlier received.
Suspension duties on the RVE variant will be managed by a 45mm adjustable fork (front) and Sachs shock absorbers at the back. Interestingly, the SP variant is a premium one and therefore, it is available with Ohlins setup on either end. For riders’ safety, both of them will be available with disc brakes and Pirelli tyres.
The entire range also comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14.5-litres.
