Recalls sometimes might tarnish the image of automotive manufacturers, but without worrying about it, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced that it would be recalling two models – H’Ness CB350 and CB350RS. The reason explained by the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer is that both the bikes that were manufactured between October 2020 and January 2023 might have a defective brake light switch. Some of them might also be facing bank angle sensor issues, and therefore, they need to be changed.

  • Faulty parts are said to be the reason behind the recall.
  • The issues are said to be minor but require attention.

Honda H’Ness CB350 and CB350RS Recall: Is Your Motorcycle Impacted?

First thing first, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has already confirmed the timeline during which the bike should be manufactured. Then, only it is a part of the impacted lot.

The manufacturer states that the first fault is with the brake light switch. Honda thinks that the rubber parts of the same may develop cracks in the future, allowing water and ultimately leading to corrosion. Similar to this is the bank angle sensor issue, where penetration of water might lead to various problems in the future.

Now, to solve them, Honda has decided that the customers can visit their nearest BigWing dealerships from next week onwards. During the inspection, if these issues are found, the manufacturer will replace those parts without any extra cost. Also, it doesn’t matter if the bike is under warranty or not.
