The Classic 350 is also the best seller for the Indian brand. First introduced in 2009, it was a tribute to the British Motorcycles from the post-WWII era. Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a perfect combination of retro charm with all sorts of modern technology. The latest range starts at Rs.1.72 Lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs.1.98 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). For your reference, it was priced at Rs.98,086 when launched in 2009.

Multiple colour shades have been introduced to give the customers a plethora of options. A few of them are Classic Black, Chestnut Red, Gunmetal Grey and Sandstorm Sand. To be precise, customers will get the option to choose over ten colour shades, albeit according to the variants.

As usual, a 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor propels a decent 19.36PS of power and 28Nm of torque for the Classic 350. The only update it gets is compliance with the latest emission norms. Fuel tank capacity of the same stands at 13.5 litres with a mileage of somewhere around 41kmpl (approx).

Not a feature-rich bike but it has got all sorts of practical equipment anyone will ever need. The list starts with a halogen bulb for the headlight which offers decent visibility even at night. Further, an analogue instrument cluster with low fuel and engine check indicators make it practical enough when compared to the outgoing BS4 model.

Bajaj introduced Dominar 400 to counterattack the Classic 350. We know, that the brand was not able to achieve the main motive but let’s see everything the other way. Interestingly, Dominar 400 now has a separate fanbase and for touring it is currently one of the most successful bikes from the Indian manufacturer. The updated range starts at Rs.2.07 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) with only one variant on offer.

This one only gets two colour shades onboard including Vine Black and Aurora Green.

An agile 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine resulting in massive power delivery of 40PS and 35Nm is available on the new Dominar 400. Transmission duties for this setup are managed by a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch available as standard. The fuel tank capacity of the same stands at 13 litres with an overall mileage of somewhere around 30kmpl (approx).

Unlike the Royal Enfield Classic 350, this one is quite better in terms of features. List starts with LED headlamps, fully digital instrument cluster, secondary information gauge, MRF radial tyres, dual-channel ABS, etc just to name a few.
