Royal Enfield has introduced some fresh colours specifically for the new Shotgun. To be precise, the palette consists of Stencil White, Green Drill, Plasma Blue and Sheetmetal Grey.

Engine & Gearbox

Powering the Shotgun 650 is a 648cc twin-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that churns out a decent 47 horsepower and 52Nm of peak torque. Available with a 6-speed gearbox, the power unit features a 270-degree crank, making it peppier. The same unit has been featured on the Interceptor and Continental GT as well.

As per the information available, Shotgun 650 will get a 13.8-litre fuel tank. With that, it will be smaller when compared to the Super Meteor 650.

Mechanicals

The all-new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is being offered in the bobber body style. Meaning, it uses raised handlebars, a lowered seat and cruising-style foot pegs, offering a commanding seating position to the rider.

Sporting a 43mm Showa fork at the front and twin-tube shock absorbers with preload adjust at the rear, the new motorbike ensures a comfortable ride. Similarly, for enough stopping power, it features a 320mm and 300mm disc at the front and back, respectively.

As we know, the Motoverse Edition of the Shotgun 650 was launched with a price tag of Rs.4.25 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Therefore, this one is also expected to feature similar pricing.
