Volkswagen Set To Deliver 2021 T-Roc SUV From Today Onwards

The German brand is not at all in a mood to introduce any other segment for the Indian market. As per the sources, Volkswagen will stick to the SUVW strategy for a little longer. Going as per the plan, the carmaker launched the 2021 T-Roc at Rs.21.35 Lakhs last month as a competition to the Jeep Compass. And now, the SUVs are ready to reach their respective owners.

To begin with, customers do not have to worry about which variant they should opt for. Interestingly, Volkswagen only offers one fully loaded variant that brings them a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, LED-projector headlamps and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system among others.

We know that German carmakers emphasise safety a lot. And to be precise, the all-new Volkswagen T-Roc is no different. It gets 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC, ABS with EBD and a lot more.

Under the hood, the SUV uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Talking in numbers, this motor is truly capable of producing a massive 147BHP of power and 250Nm of peak torque. For your information, it comes mated to a 7-speeed DSG transmission as standard. Another interesting fact is that, Volkswagen T-Roc is available in India as a CBU unit and therefore it will continue to use the MQB platform. Globally, this same underpinning is well known for the ride and handling it offers.

In terms of performance, this SUV is a pocket rocket as it completes the 0-100kmph in just 8.4 seconds. Also, the top speed from the same is limited to 205kmph.
