Volkswagen India has recently introduced a new price list for the Taigun. The change comes after the brand launched new variants of the SUV. From this moment, the Volkswagen Taigun comes with a price tag starting at Rs.11 Lakhs for the base variant and goes all the way up to Rs.18.90 Lakhs for the top-end variant (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

The entry-level Comfortline variant comes priced at Rs.11 Lakhs when compared to the older Rs.11.70 Lakhs. The difference here is around Rs.70,000. The more powerful GT Plus DSG Chrome, on the other hand, gets cheaper by Rs.75,000 to Rs.1.05 Lakhs.

Talking about the 1.5 TSI GT Edge Plus variant, it now receives a price slash ranging between Rs.74,000 to Rs.1.1 Lakhs, depending on the colours and features opted for.

The new prices have been introduced keeping in mind the rivals. To be precise, even the Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs.11 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi). This way, Volkswagen Taigun will now be competitive in terms of price as well.

Recently, Volkswagen announced that Taigun will be available in two variants called GT Line and GT Plus Sport. The latter might not have received a price tag yet, but it is expected to receive a price sticker soon. The German marque also introduced three further trim levels, making the lineup slightly complex.

In terms of design, the upcoming GT Plus Sport variant features new 17-inch Cassino Black alloy wheels, black coloured roof rails, red brake callipers and similar changes across the four ends. Even the interior of the new Taigun remains similar in terms of theme to make it stand apart from the standard variants.
