The day at office faired pretty well for the investors with both the major stock exchanges recovering the losses made yesterday. At the close of trade today, NSE was trading at 9884 points, up 88 points than the last trade price on Monday. The sectors which experience good response today included metal, oil & gas, energy, realty, industrials, financials, auto, capital goods, consumer durables and banks.
Though the majority of the stocks ended in green at the end, Hindalco, Bosch and BPCL had the first 3 positions on the gainer’s charts. All these companies gained over 3% at their stock prices today. Hindalco went up by 3.98 percent to end at 236.35, whereas, Bosch saw an increase of 3.56% and ended the day at 22,465. BPCL also gained 3.34% and ended on 520.95.
The next 2 positions were occupied by Vedanta and Reliance, which gained 2.17% and 2.09% respectively.
