Tata Consultancy Services is going to shut down soon in Lucknow. As the staff members on Wednesday claimed that they were informed by their lead leaders about the same proceedings. According to one of the staff member, the company is wrapping up the work at the Lucknow centre and by the end of the year, it will shift most of the projects to Noida. TCS has been serving here in Lucknow since 2009.
The shutting of the consultancy firm will be going to affect minimum 2,000 employees among which 50% are women. With the concern about this matter, many employees working in Lucknow have written a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asking for an intervention in the matter. Along with that, they have also written letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Information and Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma as well.
