The Delhi University have been asked to file an affidavit regarding the final year undergraduate exams by the Delhi High Court. This has been addressed as the university postponed its exams from July 15 to post August 15. The court asked the university to explain how it plans to conduct the exams and to provide a detailed report on the date sheet. The university was also asked to provide clarity to the students.

Justice Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad said that “We all have gone through the examination process which is nerve-wracking for the students, especially during the times of Covid-19 pandemic”.

The court instructed the university to file an affidavit regarding the same by July 13 and further hearing is postponed to July 14. The court gave permissions to the university to plan and conduct the examination as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) principles.
