Maharashtra government has removed the ‘Hindu’ option from classes 10, 12 exam forms. The state government has used the ‘Non-Minority’ word instead of the Hindu option in the newly released exam forms for the next board exams. BJP’S Atul Bhatkalkar has hit out at Shivsena for dropping the Hindu option and has protested against this act.

He has also warned Shivsena to call for a movement if the Hindu word is not put back in the exam form in the next 24 hours along with burning the exam forms across the state.

Not only this, but Shivsena has also suggested an ‘Azaan’ recital competition for Muslim children in the state which created a lot of stir. BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday claimed the Sena has “junked” its Hindutva ideology propagated by party founder Bal Thackeray and is pursuing “vote bank politics”.

He said to PTI  that “The Shiv Sena has junked Hindutva for the sake of power and has become pseudo-secular. An appeasement policy is going on in the Shiv Sena. We have been saying it repeatedly…and it has become very clear”.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad back in November has said that the Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exam 2021 is not possible before May. However, the state government has not released any official notice yet.
