The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has announced to organize an unique summer school Programme especially dedicated to students of class 10,11 and 12. The summer school is being conducted via online mode by the institute. The Programme will last for a week, beginning from July 3 and will wrap-up on July 10.

The Programme is designed to be based on learn-and-fun method. The summer school will consist of several fun and engaging activities which will also enhance the learning abilities of the students. IIM Jammu has kept the registration for this Programme free-of-cost. The institute has received around 500 applications on the very first day.

The primary objective of IIM behind this summer school is to encourage young minds towards studies and learning during current situations. The Pandemic has adversely affected the education of a large number of students and this Programme will help them to get back on track with a positive approach.

Professor B S Sahay, the Director of IIT Jammu, about the Programme said that we envision to nourish the knowledge of students. Through this summer school, students will get opportunity to explore their talents and interests. This will definitely help them to choose a better career option for themselves and chase success.

The curriculum of this Programme consists of three modules. This modules are designed by the expert faculties of IIT. The first module will introduce the students to concepts of global business environment and entrepreneurship. While the second module focuses on enhancing general skills like logical reasoning, public speaking, problem solving, critical thinking, etc.

At last, the third module aims on the process of self-development of the students. This module discusses about social aspects like fun and joy, time management, adopting a hobby, maintaining good health and similarly several others. The modules are formed in such a was that they are easily adoptable by students as well as ensures their overall growth.
