Federation of Self Financing Technical Institutions (FSFTI) and Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) demanded Center Govt, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to extend the last date of admissions in technical courses from 15th August to 15th September for the students of Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir and Nepal.
Adding to this, Amit Sharma, Senior Vice President, PUCA said that 5th August Patna High Court gave stay orders on the Bihar Govt’s notification dated 5th July and 16th July regarding Bihar Student credit card scheme stating credit card benefits only to NAAC grade “A” NBA accredited and NIRF ranked Institutions. Due to which there was confusion in the students for their admission for a complete month.
