JEE-Advanced is likely to take place on May 27th.

The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2019 admit card has been released on its official website jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates can visit the website and download the admit card from today (20th May) 10:00 am onward.

How to Download Admit Card?

  • Visit the official website (link provided above)
  • Click on the given link ‘JEE Advanced Admit Card’
  • Log-in page will get opne
  • Enter the required credentials (registration number, password etc.)
  • Download the admit card

Each year a particular IIT institute conducts the JEE Advanced examination. This year theĀ  exam is being conducted by IIT Roorkee. Last year, which was conducted by IIT Kanpur.

The exam is to be held on May 27th. This year total 11.47 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Mains, out of them 2.45 lakh got selected for JEE Advanced. Though, only 1.65 lakh students then registered for the IIT entrance exam and the admit card is only released for those candidates.

This year for the very first the JEE Mains examination was held twice a year i.e in the the month of January and April. The exam was conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) and the best of the two scores were considered as the final result.

The result was released on April 30 and 24 students achieved 100%.

Joint Entrance Examination is an is an engineering entrance exam, which is conducted fpr admission to various engineering colleges in India.

Earlier AIEEE was conducted as an entrance exam to pursue an engineering degree. It was later replaced by JEE Mains, which is conducted to get admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and some other colleges designated as ‘centrally funded technical institutes.’

JEE Advanced replaced IIT-JEE, which is conducted to get admission in Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) to pursue various undergraduate courses in engineering.
