Today that is on September 7, 2020, Karnataka 2nd PUC Supplementary exams 2020 are commencing. In two shifts the exam shall be held. At about 305 exam centres in the state today, in the exam, more than 2 lakh candidates shall appear . On September 19, 2020, the exam would end.

In the state of Karnataka, this year around 2,12,652 candidates shall appear for the supplementary exams. Of these 1, 29, 975 candidates are male and 82,677 are female candidates. In two shifts the exam would take place, at 10:15 am  the morning shift would begin and end at 1:30 pm, while at 2:15 pm the second shift would begin and at 5:30 pm it would end.

The exam can be taken by students failing in one or more subject. Once the students clear the exams in various colleges across the state they can take admission in the UG courses .

To students appearing in Pre-University Certificate, PUC 2nd-year supplementary exams 2020, the Karnataka State Road Transport Coqrporation, KSRTC is also providing free travel in its buses . Between their residence and exam centres, the candidates shall be permitted to travel free of cost on State transport corporation buses . As per the notice released by KSRTC,  students need to produce their admit cards or hall tickets in order to avail the facility.

While the exams are being conducted, the students need to follow the SOP, says PU Department of Karnataka. In each examination room,sanitizers need to be used by students. Along with the PU Department officials, health workers have been asked to work as invigilators wearing PPEs .
