Due to COVID19, for students who missed the examination on October 14, 2020, Supreme Court has directed the National Testing Agency, NTA to conduct NEET 2020 Phase 2 exam  . On the same day, candidates who could not appear for the exams can also re-appear for the examination. The list also includes the candidates who could not give exam because of residing in containment zones . On the official site of NTA NEET, NEET 2020 Result would release on October 16, 2020.

Soon on the official site, the official notice regarding NEET 2020 Phase 2 would release . Earlier, today, October 12, 2020, the result was expected to release. However, there was no announcement made by NTA regarding result , but according to various media reports, today or tomorrow the result was likely to release. Along with the result the final answer keys would also be released by the agency.

The merit list for the 15% All India Quota would also be released by  NTA. With respective bodies done State level counselling, the state-wise merit list would be shared. Soon, the expected cut off would be released.

To participate in the counseling round, candidates need to qualify the medical entrance examination as well as meet the NEET cut off percentile. For admission to MBBS and BDS programmes, on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee the Directorate General of Health Sciences would conduct the counselling process. For the counselling session, on the MCC website candidates need to register themselves.

This year for the NEET 2020 exam around 15.97 lakh students have registered out of which 13 lakh students have appeared. By maintaining all SOPs issued by the Health Ministry regarding the conduct of the exam, the examination was conducted.
