By the blessings of Lord, no one is weak. Everyone has different strengths, which makes everyone unique. But, one cannot completely think what they are born with is all that they will ever have. There is much knowledge one needs to bite into.

People believe knowledge is equal to mugging information. It is, truly, a sum of multiple things and understanding information is just a part of it. Knowledge is coming across information, analyzing it from past knowledge and developing skills to comprehend and make use of it in real life.

Knowledge, unlike what many parents believe, cannot be fully imparted by studying. Sports  and creative exercises play an equal role. Education and knowledge primarily play the part of building a solid character and not just making kids encyclopedias.

Away from rubbishing games as a wasteful activity or something limited to winning medals, there is need to explore the significance of one’s children playing games or showing interest in various sports. Parental worldview about games that their children like or dislike needs transformation.

Sports bring out the true essence of a being where he tries hard to overcome all odds. And when coupled a few team mates, he develops a sense of brotherhood and loyalty too. This is the kind of infusion of values sports does to a person. And in that process, leaves a trunk full of memories as well.

There is a growing need to understand the requirement of sports in every school kid’s life. Millennials are a generation dealing with much emotional and psychological issues like social anxiety, inferiority complex and stagnant thought process. Sports deals with all of these issues in full capacity. A sportsperson feels confident and upright about himself and hence, carries himself better in all social conditions.

All the above mentioned qualities cannot be infused in a grown up easily. It is far better to let one’s child grow with them to become a fuller version of himself. Studies must be treated as they are, a part of education. there is much more to education and must not be ignored, especially sports.

We all know children should be active for optimal health. But it’s not very uncommon to find many of them leading sedentary lifestyles due to high reliance on virtual world. According to The American Heart Association, one can swap one’s child’s TV time for a fun 60 minutes of physical activity every day and help to protect them from childhood obesity, high-blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol.

Outdoor games such as cricket, football, badminton, tennis, etc. have various benefits. Even though they may not result into immediate gain, the participation in any one of them does have its positive impact. They may tell upon the health for the time being and may also affect education temporarily.

But the outdoor games gradually build up a healthy body and make the mind energetic.
