A teacher is someone, who inspires and makes you fall in love with studying. But if the teacher doesn’t know how to read, then what will happen to the youth of the country.
Two government teachers from Uttar Pradesh’ Unnao were suspended on Saturday when they were unable to read few lines from English Books during an inspection from the District Magistrate.

District Magistrate Devendra Kumar Pandey went for a surprise inspection on November 28 at Chaura Ucch Praathmik Vidhyalaya in Sikandarpur block. He directed the Sahayak Shikshika (Assitant Teacher) Rajkumari and the Pradhan Shikshika (Headteacher) Sushila Bharti to read the books.

“He asked the teachers to read what’s written in the book and tell him the meaning but the teachers were helpless. Then, the District Magistrate ordered the suspension of both the teachers,” said Basic Shikshak Adhikari.

“He first asked the kids to read from English Books but when they were unable to do so, he went for teachers’ inspection,” he further said.

Government Schools of India have always been discredited due to the teachers who don’t know how to teach or are absent. This is one of the reasons why people don’t want their kids to study in Government schools.
