When duty calls, a soldier is always ready to go and discharge his work. The actor, Siddharth Malhotra had enough time to rest during the lockdown, now though his duty to shoot his next film, Shershaah called, which he has answered.
The actor is back on the sets of the film and he took to Instagram, to share pictures from the sets of the film. Captioning the pictures as “Soldier back at work! #OnTheSets #Shershaah, ” the actor shared the following post :
Shershaah is a film based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra. The captain attained martyrdom while fighting the Pakistani army in the 1999 Kargil War.
The film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead, while Vishnuvardhan is directing it.
Siddhartha had recently completed 8 years in the film industry and for which he was recently trending on Twitter. He thanked his fans for their love and support, expressing his gratitude and best wishes.
The actor was last seen in Marjaavaan, which was released last year. Shershaah was supposed to release this year in July as per the makers when it was announced in May last year. The pandemic stalled its shoot and therefore the film got delayed.
A new date for the film is going to be announced soon, with Siddharth’s fans looking forward to seeing him on the big screen again.
