Rumors circulate faster than electric current. A recent rumor which rapidly spread in the entertainment world was that Ajay Devgn will also star in Adipurush. Though like with every false rumor, it too is dismissed now.
The false report was dismissed by Ajay Devgn’s spokesperson. His statement to the leading news daily read :
“Mr. Devgn has not been approached by the makers of ‘Adipurush‘ for any role in it”.
In the film, Om Raut is going to adapt the epic Ramayan. While Prabhas is going to portray the lead role of Lord Rama. Saif Ali Khan on the other hand is going to portray the villain, Lankesh.
Touted as a dream project, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada among other languages. It will be released in the 3D format and for making the film on a grand scale, massive sets are being constructed for its action sequences.
So, now you know that Ajay Devgn is not having any role in the much-anticipated film. Ajay had starred in director, Om Raut’s debut film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, last year. The film also featured Saif Ali Khan in the role of a villain. It became a blockbuster at the box office.
Adipurush is set for a release in the year 2022.
