Amitabh Bachchan who was recently hospitalised has been discharged on Friday and returned home safely. According to media reports, the actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital on 15 October. It was initially reported that he was taken to hospital due to some liver problem but the reports were later quashed.

The actor was actually admitted to the hospital for a routine checkup. Big B is fine now and has been discharged. The actor was spotted leaving the hospital with wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek. Watch the video below:

The actor wrote in his blog that one should respect the code of professional documentation and should keep in mind that ailments and medical conditions are a confidential individual right.

“Do NOT break the CODE of professional documentation .. ailments and medical conditions are a confidential individual right .. its exploitation, and its attempted commerce are a social illegality .. respect and give required understanding to this .. all is not in the world of sale ..  My love .. and my gratitude for all .. for all that consider care , that consider concern and consider prayer for me ..”

The actor also shared some photos of his fans and of himself with his grand daughter Aradhya. About his grand daughter he wrote, “the embrace from the little one and nothing else matters .. it sublimes itself to that which is beyond the description of my language ..”

About his fans, Big B said, “Prayers concern and the love of them that stand by you, are elements of immense construct .. they believe so you believe .. they present folded appeal, and the reciprocation be of equal strength .. they are real .. they are constant .. they are the energy often questioned ..”

Even during his days in the hospital, the actor was quite active on social media and shared two adorable posts on the occasion of Karwa Chauth.

On the workfront, Amitabh Bachchan is currently working on popular television quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. In Bollywood, he will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulaabo Sitab, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. He also has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahamastr coming up, where he shares screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The legendary actor recently received Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his immense contribution to cinema. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India’s highest honour given in the field of cinematic art.
