After giving beautiful performances in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubhmangal Saavdhaan, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to woo the audiences with his upcoming movie Badhaai Ho. The Amit Sharma directorial, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra went on floors this Monday.
Already quite a few pictures publicizing the movie have made the rounds on social media platforms. Here’s a tweet shared by Ayushmann Khurrana on January 7 when the readings and workshop of the movie started:

But now the movie has gone into production. Ayushmann had another venture, Bareilly Ki Barfi, with Junglee Pictures that went on to do quite well both critically and commercially. Again he is collaborating with the same production house while the movie will be helmed by Tevar director Amit Sharma. The movie is a coming of age drama revolving around a news that enters into a family and the effect it causes on the people of that family.

Ayushmann has already shared his excitement over the movie in a past interview saying, “I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Junglee Pictures for Bareilly Ki Barfi and working with them on Badhaai Ho is going to be exciting. The story that Amit tells is typically Indian with dollops of quirky humor. I look forward to a family film that is both innovative and entertaining.”
