After a really long time Bollywood finally succeeded to produce a comedy movie without any vulgarity and double-meaning dialogues.
Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel and Shreyas Talpade starrer ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ is totally a pure comedy family movie.
From Sunny Deol to Shreyas Talpade, everybody did a great job. Their comic timings are as usual terrific. And several accomplished actors like Pankaj Tripathy, Sanjay Mishra, Brajesh Kala, Mukul Dev, Jaideep Ahlawat and Pankaj Jha played their part well. However they showed up only for extended cameos, they made it worth a while.
But Preity Zinta is the surprise element of the show. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that she alone stole the show. Nobody could have done it better than her. It was her image-defying role but she played it really well. Years of wait finally paid off when she appeared on screen playing a fiery gangster’s no-nonsense wife.
When UP Bhaiyya-gangster Sunny Deol to win back his angry wife, decides to make a film of his marital love story, leaves no stone unturned to do it.
The film proceeds showing the complication which come his way of making a film. Shreyas as a puffed-up flop Bengali director makes audience laugh with his witty sense of humor and funny accent. Along with Arshad, Shreyas is the backbone of the film.
In the second half, another Sunny Deol appears with more confusion and more laughter. And Bhaiyyaji’s gangster competitor brings in some action, which is necessary when there is Sunny Deol on the screen.
All in all the film has spoofy drama and harmless comedy and if you want to just relax and laugh, ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’, will give you both.
