When Shehnaz Gill entered the house of Bigg Boss season 13 as a contestant she didn’t have a public persona that could be the face of a large fandom. A Punjabi singer, Shehnaz wasn’t particularly we known outside of her state, and wouldn’t have survived long inside the house if she didn’t have an entertaining personality. But now, Shehnaz is one of the most popular contestants of the house, has a large fan following on social media, and accumulated most votes for when the housemates were asked to name the biggest reason for the show’s success.
Paras Chhabra, Shefali Jariwala, Mahira, Vishal Aditya Singh, Rashami Desai, Sidharth Shukla voted for Shehnaz Gill, and explained how her jubilant personality and antics in the house have probably kept the audiences engaged, apart from all the sound and fury of the fights every week. Himanshi, with whom Shehnaz had a feud outside the house also voted for her, because she felt the people genuinely like her and have expressed only admiration for her performances.
Shehnaz was very happy to receive the honor, thanked everyone who voted for her, and also ran to hug Himanshi for being nice to her. As a gift, Bigg Boss granted her immunity for this week’s nominations. At the end of the episode, Shehnaz was given an opportunity to make a romantic video with Siddharth Shukla. They both prepared and then romanced on the song, Ishq Wala Love as the credits rolled.
Paras and Mahira were saved from eliminations because Devoleena had to leave the house because of her health problems.
