The second installment of horror comedy ‘Devi’ is all set to hit the theatres on April 5. The film features choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah in the lead roles, alongside Nandita Swetha and Kovai Sarala are in supporting roles, while RJ Balaji, Sathish, and Yogi Babu will be seen in the comic roles.
The makers of ‘Devi 2’ released a less than one-minute long teaser which gives us the glimpse of the horror-comedy and also reveals the film will have two ghosts. In the last part, we saw a ghost of a struggling actress Ruby which entered the Tamannaah’s body, the sequel will have a spirit named Alex entering Prabhudeva’s Body.
‘Devi 2’ will release in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. The Tamil version will have music by Gopi Sundar while the Hindi version will have the tunes of Tanishk Bagchi. The film is helmed by Vijay and is bankrolled by K. Ganesh and R. Ravindran. The film was shot in Mauritius. The song “Chal Maar” is reused in the second part as well. With lyrics written by Na. Muthukumar, Arunraja Kamaraj, and Madhan Karky.
