‘Dostana’ directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar is one of the most finest comedy films produced by the Dharma Production.

Based on homosexual relations, the film marked a turning point for people to discuss on the topic of homosexuality in India and in films as well.

It recently turned 11 years and its stars Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan shared pictures to celebrate the occasion.

Priyanka took to her Instagram handle and shared a story posted by its director Tarun Mansukhani.

Abhishek Bachchan shared a special tweet from his Twitter handle, spreading out love to the entire team.

He wrote: “Wow! 11 yrs already… Good times, great memories. #Dostana

‘Dostana’ was released on 14 November 2008 and met with positive critical reception and strong box-office results.

The film received nine nominations at the 54th Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Actor (Bachchan), and Best Music Director.

A sequel titled ‘Dostana 2’ is in the making directed by Collin D’Cunha and starring Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Abhishek is currently busy filming for Kookie Gulati’s ‘The Big Bull’ which is based on the financial crimes done by stockbroker Harshad Mehta.

Priyanka was last seen in Shonali Bose’s drama ‘The Sky Is Pink’, where her performance was well received. However, the film under performed at the box-office.
